In the last month, I've had the chance to meet and profile a number of semi-prominent Jews and Israelis for the Jewish Journal and its sister publication, Tribe. Meeting these people was privilege enough; getting to tell readers about the exciting work that each one is doing is even better.
Michael Lehrer is a talented, passionate, and publicly minded architect.
Ori Dinur has managed to bring the best of Israeli culture, drama, and music to Los Angeles.
Shawn Evenhaim is perhaps the ideal embodiment of Israeli leadership in Los Angeles.
And Professor Judea Pearl, father of slain journalist Daniel Pearl, is impressive in too many ways to summarize here.
